Missionaries and the Movie

The movie "The Passion of the Christ" is being hailed by many missionaries as an important tool to evangelize their message.

While not all these efforts are being directed toward Jews, many Jews may be the targets of missionaries who have been energized by this film.

We are presenting here some examples of products and statements that underscore the need to be aware of this.

Read the Guide to Missionary Tactics to learn how missionaries might approach you. If you are Jewish you will also find the Counter-missionary handbook, available from Jews for Judaism to be helpful.

We encourage Jews who have questions about statements made by missionaries to visit us on this site, at Jews for Judaism, or to contact us directly at one of the numbers listed on the home page.

Is the movie being used as a basis for proselytizing?
